Who are JobContax?

JobContax, formerly known as Contax Recruitment (contax.ie), was founded in 2001 by Karen McHugh, an engineer passionate about offering quality opportunities to the jobseeker and an intelligent service to the client.

Where are your offices?

JobContax has offices in Dublin and Galway in Ireland. In 2010 we opened an office in Shanghai China. JobContax also has a presence in Australia through strategic partnerships with Australian companies.

What do Recruitment Agencies do?

"Recruitment Agencies are engaged by companies to find them suitable candidates. They usually specialise in particular occupations or sectors or cover a specific geographical location. To deal with large numbers of applicants replying in response to an advert, agencies use CV keyword searches to select a number of jobseekers meeting their criteria and contact them."
