This is achieved by fully integrating health and safety practices into all our operations and daily activities, focusing on continual and innovative improvements and demonstrating leadership in safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Underlying our policy is our commitment to the following safety principles:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>People Really Matter<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Effective communication and consultation between our company, clients and workers is fundamental<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Accidents, incidents and injuries can and will be prevented<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Safety is everyone\u2019s responsibility<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provision of education, inductions and resources is essential to reducing risk<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ongoing implementation, monitoring and evaluation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;Measurable objectives and targets are implemented to ensure innovative improvements eliminate risks and effective return to work and rehabilitation strategies are in place. By promoting a culture of continuous improvement and adopting a zero tolerance to non conformances of our agreed systems, we strive to provide a safe and healthy workplace for all workers and visitors, plus any others who may be affected by our undertakings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>JobContax will endeavour to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Provide and maintain safe working environments without risk to health and safety.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Set standards that comply with all relevant statutory requirements relating to health, safety and the environment with regard to their dealings with employees, customers, contractors and the public.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Safeguard employees and others from foreseeable hazards with regard to health, safety or the environment in existing processes and working systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure that when new substances, plant, machinery, equipment, processes or premises are introduced, adequate guidance, instruction and supervision will be provided for safe methods of work to be developed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure all employees are aware of their own responsibilities in respect of relevant health, safety and environmental matters.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Aim to achieve the commitment and active involvement of all staff, in order that safety awareness and positive attitudes are fostered and continuous efforts made to improve safety performance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure that contractors carrying out work are informed of relevant standards; are trained in procedures as necessary; and that systems are established for monitoring compliance, without detracting from the contractors legal responsibilities, to ensure that requirements are met.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promote good health and be concerned with the prevention of occupational and non-occupational disorders and diseases using health counselling and health education.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure that the workplace is maintained in a clean, tidy and hygienic condition throughout.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Co-operate with appropriate authorities and technical organisations, both to ensure that policies are updated and to contribute to the formulation of standards and means of compliance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Retain, and review as necessary, existing arrangements for safety committees to maintain effective consideration of health and safety measures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure that these objectives are being fulfilled through auditing activities.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>JobContax are committed to complying with the requirements of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.irishstatutebook.ie\/2005\/en\/act\/pub\/0010\/index.html\">Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005<\/a>, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.irishstatutebook.ie\/2007\/en\/si\/0299.html\">General Applications Regulations 2007<\/a> and all other relevant statutory requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>This policy will be reviewed on an annual basis to take account of changes in circumstances or legal requirements.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Work Health &amp; Safety Policy Statement&nbsp; JobContax&nbsp; is committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace for all workers and visitors and to provide safety conscious employees to clients in order to achieve an accident-free workplace.
