BIM Administrator - Construction - Galway
Our Client is a leading main contractor at the forefront of the construction industry for over 65 years, combining speed and quality across a diverse range of capabilities. They deliver high quality, sustainable results building for a better future in Ireland and the UK.
This candidate will support the overall project modelling techniques & standards and discipline specific BIM output through all delivery stages of the projects.
Support the project as required under the guidance of the BIM Manager
Determine team training needs, and organizes training as needed
Audit models for adherence to project standards
Oversee the application of BIM technologies and ensures that the model adheres to all internal and client specific goals and standards.
Oversee the development of the project content
Assist all team members in BIM processes at all stages of the project.
Update the BEP/Model Matrix as required
Maintain the Navisworks model
Provide Navis/Revit support as required by the team
Automate the DWG exports from Revit for the Civil Team to reference
Attend internal and client model coordination reviews
BIM 360 Team & Glue Administration
Engineering Degree, ideally but relevant industry experience considered.
Familiarity with BIM Concepts and uses on a project
Project organization and planning skills
Fundamental BIM software skills
Effective leader: articulate, diplomatic, ethical, and dedicated
Experience with and passionate about BIM, IPD, Lean, Collaboration
Must have extensive knowledge of the nuances, features, functions, and limitations of Autodesk BIM Platforms
Understands project workflows from design, estimation, construction, administration and coordination, and fabrication
Knowledge of industry standards, workflows, data formats and interoperability
Navisworks Clash Detection (helpful, not essential)
BIM 360 Suite
Minimum of 3 years BIM experience in design and construction required
Basic salary of €40 - 50K, open to negotiation dependent on experience
