BIM Manager - Tier 1 Construction Contractor - Wicklow
Our client is one of Ireland's leading Civil & Building Contractors with operations throughout the country.
Key activities for this person will include:
Reporting to Departmental Operations Manager.
Be part of the dynamic Digital Construction department within company.
Manage functional area BIM Coordinators on a project level.
Work closely with the senior project management team.
Chair scope specific meetings.
Manage the development of the project Information aligned with the contract requirements and company Level 2 Certification requirements.
Manage the Implementation of company Corporate BIM Strategy on a project level.
Communicate with senior project/departmental management on the progress of the projects BIM deliverables.
Manage and report on the progress of the projects Information Management requirements.
Assist the project team in areas of new learning especially software and process related.
Manage and report on the day to day on-boarding of key stakeholders in their engagement in a Level 2 BIM process.
Manage the maintenance and training of company Information Management systems and processes.
Third Level AEC related qualification required.
A Minimum of 7 years’ experience in construction related activities.
Level 2 BIM Certification required.
Experience in FM delivery through BIM would be desirable.
Detailed knowledge of COBie delivery.
Detailed knowledge of 3D object modelling.
Detailed knowledge of Civil 3D.
Detailed knowledge of Revit.
Detailed knowledge of Navisworks Manage.
Detailed knowledge of the Autodesk 360 suite of products.
Detailed knowledge of contractual relationships and requirements.
Enthusiastic, motivated individual.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Strong written and verbal Communication Skills.
Ability to lead a team.
Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency and meet challenging work goals.
Must be a self-starter and possess the drive to pursue continued education on BIM.
Possess ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
Salary €60,000 - €80,000 based on experience negotiable for the right candidate.
