Job Description

Our client is an award winning engineering consultancy, currently undergoing rapid growth.

Our client is seeking Civil Engineers to join their Roads/Transportation group.

Requirements

Qualified Engineer with minimum of an Honours degree in Civil Engineering;

3-5 years post graduate experience in civil engineering sector;

Interest/experience in roads or transportation design skills;

Knowledge of relevant design standards (e.g. DMRB, DMURS, etc.);

Proficient in roads/transportation design software/technologies;

Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills;

Excellent attention to detail and quality design outputs;

Comfortable working in a busy work environment with tight deadlines;

Ability to self motivate and work within a team;

Aptitude for problem solving;

Flexible, motivated and focussed;

Desire to learn and develop;

Fluent / highly proficient in spoken and written English.

Desirable:

Masters degree in Transportation Infrastructure related discipline

Membership of recognised professional body in the Engineering sector;

Minimum of 2 years direct experience in design for roads/transportation projects;

Knowledge of TII & NTA Project Management Guidelines;

Knowledge of traffic modelling software (e.g. Paramics, Vissim, etc.)

Knowledge of 3D roads design software (e.g. MX, Civil 3D)

Package

Salary €40k - €50k based experience, negotiable for the right candidates.
