Civils Project Manager - Water Projects - Ireland

Job Description

Our client is a multidisciplinary Engineering practice operating across the private and public sectors in Ireland for over 50 years.

Due to continued growth in a number of large-scale civil engineering sectors, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager (7+ years’ experience) to join our Water Division. 

You will work on a large number of civil engineering and watermain rehabilitation projects across Cork / Kerry / the South-West. 

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual seeking autonomy who may wish to further establish and grow a ‘business unit’ within the business. 

Management of a team of engineers

Programming of all work deliverables

Communication with client (daily interface)

Attending site walkabouts in the South West region on a regular basis (2/3 days per week)

Management of sub-consultants.

Requirements

The position requires candidates to hold a minimum Level 8 Degree in Civil Engineering. 

Applicants must have 7+ years’ experience in civil engineering (design and project management). 

A strong background in Modelling would be a distinct advantage.

Previous experience in civil engineering/water services design and project management

Experience of working in collaboration with other design disciplines and with contractors

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Excellent written English

Package

Salary €60k - €80K, negotiable for the right candidate
