Construction Manager - CSA - Kildare
Our Client is a global leader in the design, engineering and construction of high tech facilities and major complex projects.
To support the Senior Cleanroom ACM of a multi-disciplinary project team engaged in high-tech facility project to strict safety, time and quality requirements.
Your day to day role is to plan and manage the whole Engineering scope associated with the Clean room, Gown room, Litho Clean room, Parts Clean Area across the campus to ensure the client has achieved the interim Level 1 milestones and Fab Op ready dates.
As a CSA Construction Manager other duties will include:
Define the project’s objectives and communicate those to the staff and subcontractors whether those goals are safety, quality or programme related and in so far as reasonably practicable ensure the objectives are either achieved or improved
Day to day liaison with clients representatives to pre-plan and mirco-manage the works with regard to all planned schedule activities, incorporating the Cleanroom micro related requirements.
Liaison with client 3rd party dedicated micro team
To be the point of contact for subcontractor site Engineering team
To be involved with the project decision making process
To help and support team members
To keep accurate records, provide detailed reports and ensure the team also provide detailed accounts of their activities
Work closely with the design team and offer advice on buildability and suitability of design solutions
Ensure that on site instructions from Client’s authorised personnel are being recorded and managed
To be able to conclude a project to the Client’s satisfaction including snagging, commissioning, validation and Area readiness
Fulfill all the requirements of the Company procedures
Ensure that all less experienced staff are being given the opportunity to improve their knowledge and experience
Create a good working relationship with Client’s representatives
Engineering degree or relevant industry experience
Min 5 years Engineering / construction experience as a Cleanroom Process or Construction Engineering / CM or PM ideally in the microelectronics industry
Reporting skills including presentations
Cleanroom design or build experience.
Ideally has been engaged by a cleanroom supplier / Contractor
Ability to execute take-offs and prepare RFQ’s is an advantage
Use all recording tools and data to keep an accurate position of the project programme.
€Competitive basic salary - negotiable dependant on experience
