Our client are establishing a new Civil / Structural Engineering division and are seeking an experienced Director-level candidate to lead and shape this department. 

This is a unique opportunity to build a team from the ground up and deliver high-profile projects for global clients in the data center and power plant sectors.

Lead the creation of a new department, setting technical standards and best practices.

Oversee civil and structural engineering design for large-scale data centers and power plants.

Ensure rigorous QA processes across all deliverables.

Act as the primary client-facing representative, building strong relationships with major clients such as Amazon and Microsoft.

Collaborate with internal teams to align engineering solutions with company-wide financing and project strategies.

Guide and mentor engineering staff as the department grows.

Requirements

20+ years of professional experience in civil/structural engineering, with proven leadership at director level.

Strong technical expertise in structural design and project delivery.

Excellent quality assurance skills with a track record of delivering projects to the highest standards.

Client-facing experience with the ability to manage relationships and represent the company effectively.

Background in data center or power plant projects; direct data center experience is a significant advantage.

Business development skills are welcome but not essential, as financing is centralized within the company.

Availability to join within 0–6 months to meet urgent project timelines.

Compensation aligned with industry standards and based on experience (no fixed salary range).
