Electrical Quantity Surveyor - Dublin

Job Description

Our client is a leading Electrical engineering contractor working on pharma/biotech and datacentre projects in Ireland and mainland Europe

This role will be based in Dublin with trips each month for a few days to Europe

Electrical Quantity Surveyors required to ensure construction teams are adhering to all contractual requirements and providing advice and monitoring of same

Ensure reporting is in line with group policies & highlight exceptions to management

Responsible for cost controlling costs on projects and ensuring budgets are achieved.

Working with the project managers on projects to achieve timeline and budgets

Issuing tender queries and preparation of tender reports and letting of Mechanical & Electrical sub-contract packages

Preparing progress applications and cost reports, and monthly management accounts for each project.

Manage subcontractor accounts, interim valuations and final accounts. 

Ability to administer the contract obligations and meet additional client requirements. 

Issue interim and final accounts and progress applications per project and contract requirements. 

Identify escalations, material or labour, as appropriate.

Requirements

Relevant third level qualification - Construction Economics/Quantity Surveying essential

Junior and senior positions available

Min 3+ years’ experience post qualification required

Experience in M&E quantity surveying required 

Package

€60K - 100K+ Competitive Salary based on experience and qualifications

Remuneration package will be commensurate with qualifications and experience

Full time, permanent staff position

For mainland Europe projects, flights, accommodation, car share provided
