Field Service Engineer - Water Treatment - Leinster

Job Description

Our client is involved in the Design, Installation and Service of water purification systems for the Healthcare, Industrial, Municipal & Pharmaceutical sectors.

Reporting to our Service Manager the successful candidate will be involved in the installation and commissioning of new equipment as well as service /preventative maintenance/ repair and Maintenance of existing water treatment plant, customer training and a high level of technical support. 

Have the capacity to provide quality engineering support including root cause analysis and the implementations of corrective actions

Work carried out by engineers act in accordance with the relevant Company and Customer Quality procedures.

Manage customer relationships with emphasis on communication with customers and ensuring good customer satisfaction.

Interact with customer service department and administration, providing technical service reports and all other relevant documentation to customer service and administration for processing and invoicing.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be from a technical background - ideally qualified in an engineering related subject - electrical, mechanical. 

Field based experience in water treatment is a minimum requirement.

The suitable candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be customer focused, technically competent and commercially aware with strong trouble-shooting and analytical skills. 

Additionally, they will possess strong organizational skills, the ability to thrive under pressure along with a strong desire to succeed. 

A full clean driver’s license is also required.

Must have the ability to work alone or as part of a small team with minimum supervision. 

Be a self-starter with a ‘can do’ attitude. Able to handle multiple task requests and prioritise. 

Be able to work in busy environment in a confident manner. 

Some travel to mainland Europe maybe required

Package

Ideally located Leinster but not necessary

Attractive remuneration package comprising of basic salary, commission, bonus, pension, healthcare, subsistence, expenses package, based on applicant’s experience.

Company vehicle etc. provided.
