Job Description

Our Client is one of the largest engineering practices in Ireland and has an exciting young and vibrant workforce with a strong creative and technical skill set

Fire Safety Engineer to join the Infrastructure team in our Dublin office. 

The role will involve working on exciting projects across various sectors including; Leisure, Educational, Commercial, Healthcare, Industrial and Residential for both public and private clients. 

Candidate will be required to assist in Fire Safety Engineering design and monitoring of building and site development projects. 

Development of fire safety strategies from inception through to completion

Fire risk assessments and surveys of existing buildings

Communication with internal and external parties via email

Preparation of design drawings and review of drawings prepared by others

Undertaking site inspections as required under BC(A)R 2014

Report writing

Review of Contractor and Design Team proposals

Assisting in undertaking duties of the PSDP and Ancillary Certifier

Requirements

Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Fire Safety Engineering (or equivalent).

Candidates with a MSc in Fire Safety Engineering would be preferred.

Graduate Engineers as well as those with up to 5 years’ experience in a consultancy environment demonstrating fire engineering project delivery will be considered for

the position

Experience in negotiations with Local authorities and other key stakeholders 

Package

Salary €45k - €65k based experience, negotiable for the right candidates.
