Hydraulic Modeller - Ireland

Job Description

Our client is one of the leading global Design, Engineering and Project Management Consultancies employing over 15,000 staff worldwide.

Development of computer models to investigate flooding and environmental problems and generation of outline solutions.

Building and maintaining hydraulic models and delivery of technical reports and hydraulic studies

Experience of Infoworks ICM software

Water Cycle understanding

Knowledge of Geographic information systems such as MapInfo/ArcGIS

Visual Basic or other programming skills (e.g. Python)

Experience of computer modelling principles

Clean water modelling and distribution networks

Building and calibrating network models

Management of Detailed Zonal Studies delivery, Pressure Management and DMA Design

Experience with SYNERGI, INFOWORKS WS, EPANET, Infowater and other modelling software.

Requirements

Degree in Engineering, Geography, GIS, Science Related subject or equivalent

HNC, HND level qualification in similar subjects will be considered.

Mathematics and English at GCSE/SN5 or equivalent (or higher) Grade C

Must have an interest in the water environment and sustainability and desire to apply your skills to the challenges the water environment faces

Full clean UK driving license

Package:

Salary £35k - £45k per annum, negotiable for the right person

25 Days holidays per annum
