Industrial Electrician - HVAC Maintenance Company - Dublin

Job Description

Our client is a leading building services consultancy specializing in HVAC and air conditioning

Provide Electrical operations and maintenance services for Industrial infrastructure

To execute maintenance activities on electrical equipment including instrumentation, PLC’s, Variable Speed Drives ensuring safe, reliable plant.

Making sure maintenance tasks are completed in accordance with site policies and procedures.

Ensure effective completion and ongoing review of planned equipment maintenance routines on MAXIMO maintenance system.

Ensure all executed maintenance activities are recorded by the maintenance team on the MAXIMO maintenance system

Minimize downtime on equipment, through fast response, effective root cause analysis and good problem solving techniques

Effective analysis and elimination of recurring equipment problems.

Monitoring and record the use and the of spare parts

Be active in Identification, quantification, implementation and presentation of equipment continuous improvement projects.

Job Requirements

Time served Electrician with QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft - Electrical or equivalent

High-level diagnostic and problem solving skills in an industrial environment

5 years’ experience in an industrial environment

Knowledge and Experience using MCC/ Control Panel Experience.

Understand and be highly proficient in information systems, e.g. Email, Microsoft Office, etc.

Package

Salary Negotiable from €45k - €50k

Lunch: €10.90: This is worth approximately €2,616 per year NETT untaxed so essentially worth €5,200 in gross terms.  

Dinner: € 33.98 if you work for more than 10 hours.  

Overnight: € 88.53, they must be at least 100km away from the employee’s home and normal place of work.  

On Call allowance: 1 week in 5 €150 + minimum callout out duration of 4 hrs. This equates to approximately €1,500 gross per year.  

Overtime Rates (exact rates to be confirmed by Finance at contract stage): 

Time and Half 

Double Time 

Normal Working Hours: 8am -4pm Monday to Friday.  

Pension 5% employer contribution after 12 months (5% employee contribution also required) 

Irish Life Policy with death in service payment.  

Van, fuel card, mobile and laptop.  

Tools provided by the company.  

VHI

23 days holidays per year.

Ongoing Professional Development: 

Full training on all equipment
