Junior Bridge Design Engineer - Dublin

Job Description

Our client is a multi-disciplined international engineering consultancy, currently undergoing rapid growth in Ireland

The position is based in our Dublin Office.

The Bridge Engineer shall be a member of the Transport & Bridges team which has an active and interesting current / upcoming project portfolio.

Working as part of multi-disciplinary design teams in the delivery of transportation infrastructure

Providing a high quality service to our Clients in the Public and Private Sectors

Assisting business development and tender bid management for professional services contracts.

Requirements

A minimum of 2 years relevant experience in the areas of bridge design and remediation

A Level 8 Honours Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering

Chartered Engineer status highly desirable (CEng, MIStructE or equivalent).

Experience in bridge design

Detailed knowledge of the analysis and design of bridges in pre-stressed concrete and steel

Fully conversant with the Eurocodes and the Irish and UK Design Manuals for Roads and Bridges

Experience in the preparation of contract documents for Bridge Structures

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Package

Salary negotiable based on experience.
