Junior Electrical Engineer - Consultancy - Ireland

Job Description

Our Client is a leading engineering consultancy, offering engineering design and project management services on large scale projects.

Ideally, you will have a minimum of 1-2 years of Building Services Consultancy Design experience and will be a competent user of Amtech/Dialux, and Autodesk Applications.

BIM experience would be advantageous, along with commercial & residential sector experience.

For this role, we are looking for a hands-on and focused engineering consultant who can uphold our clients approach to quality-driven success.

Job Requirements

Minimum Degree qualification in Electrical Design Engineering

Proficient user of the following:

Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint etc.)

Autodesk Applications (AutoCAD/Design Review)

Building Information Modelling (BIM) experience will be advantageous.

Competent in the design and specification of electrical building services in a variety of industry and project types, sizes, and complexity.

Experience and involvement in detailed designs through the full design cycle.

Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills.

Minimum of 1-2 years of Electrical Building Services Consultancy Design experience.

Commercial sector knowledge/experience a strong advantage.

Knowledge and experience in the following Electrical design areas: Lighting & Emergency Lighting, Small Power and Data, Fire alarms, CCTV & Intruder Alarms, LV Power Distribution and Containment.

Knowledge of CIBSE, IEC, BS, IS and EN Standards.

Problem solving, presentation, communication, and IT skills essential.

Team player with the ability to learn from your colleagues.

Package

€32,000 to €35,000 Salary depending on experience.
