Junior Fire Engineer - Dublin

Job Description

Our client is small - medium sized company that specialises in Architecture and fire protection engineering.

Candidates will be responsible for developing and delivering effective innovative fire engineering solutions for various building types to meet quality standards. 

Developing fire engineering solutions for various building types and at various stages

Demonstrate the ability to apply performance based fire engineering solutions and in particular the ability to develop structural fire engineered solutions 

Carrying out risk assessments of existing buildings

Preparation of relevant documentation such as presentations, reports, sketches, drawings, etc. 

Clear ability to liaise with the design team, client, local approving authorities, contractors and other third parties as required

Maintaining quality standards

Requirements

Undergraduate qualification in fire engineering

Familiarity and good working knowledge of fire engineering principles

Experience writing technical reports

Demonstrable competence and familiarity with office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

Knowledge of design/installation/maintenance of fire safety systems, Sprinklers, Fire alarms, Emergency lighting

Knowledge of worldwide fire standards (e.g. NFPA, UL)

Package

Salary €30k - €45k based experience, negotiable based on experience
