Lead OSi PI Data Historian - Louth
The Data Historian Lead Engineer will be responsible for the installation, configuration and maintenance of the site Data Historian (OSIsoft PI) system.
This individual will work as part of the AIS projects team, supporting the implementation of the core PI Server Applications, Visualization and Reporting systems and will be responsible for developing the Ops and Audit Readiness Program (Global SOPs, Policies and Procedures)
The ideal candidate will have strong OSIsoft PI experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Technical Design Lead for Data Historian, Batch Reporting and Analytics solutions including integration to other systems such as PAS, EMS and PLC controlled equipment via Kepware.
Lead Data Historian team in day to day activities assigning and tracking tasks to completion.
Define and maintain the site Data Historian, Reporting and Analytics roadmap.
Planning and liaising with Project Managers, Installation and Project Engineers
Support installation, configuration and validation of PI System components.
Collaborating with vendors on integration of systems with site infrastructure.
Draft, review and approval of Change Request, SOPs, Work Instructions and Design specifications.
Review and approval of vendor documentation including Design Specifications and SAT Protocols.
Continuous improvement and optimisation of systems after installation and commissioning
Day to day administration and monitoring of Systems.
Support project leadership on schedule, budget management and resource loading.
Reporting out to Project Team and wider CQV team on status of planned activities.
Bachelors in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Biotech Engineering or related computer science engineering with 8+ years experience in operations/manufacturing environment
Experience directing system design, configuration and application of business processes in a biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
Experience during project delivery and operations support of Data Historian, Reporting and Analytics systems. Experience with the following systems is preferred; PI Data Archive, PI Asset Framework, PI Vision, PI RtReports, PI Notifications, PI Analyses, Emerson DeltaV, Kepware, Siemens PLCs, Allen Bradley PLCs, SQL Server, Versiondog, Siemens PM Server.
Experience with designing interfaces, data conversion, and network and infrastructure fundamentals.
Ability to anticipate, evaluate and resolve multiple, simultaneous project issues, delays and problems by utilising technical, project management, and business expertise.
Ability to translate strategic opportunities and emerging technology solutions into tangible pragmatic executable plans.
Working knowledge of GAMP software development lifecycle, ANSI/ISA-S88 and S95 industry standards.
Thorough knowledge of Pharmaceutical Industry Regulations (cGMP/cGLP, OSHA, EPA/EQB, 21 CFR Part 11) required.
