Lead Scheduler - Construction Infrastructure Projects - Dublin
Job Description
Our client is a global engineering, construction, and project management company with a strong pipeline of Irish projects.
The Schedule Lead is responsible for a team of schedulers that help in the successful delivery of schedule data for new projects and tracking & reporting on the status of live projects.
The candidate must be comfortable leading a team, developing sustainable scheduling processes, influencing contractors, and help influence the scheduling culture across the program.
Oversee schedule management activities, including review of internal schedules and review of contractor schedules.
Validate and report on time impacts, scope change impacts, or delays to enable early identification of risks, driving transparency, and predictability.
Facilitate cross-project schedule meetings to align on scheduling expectations, optimize schedules, and drive consistency in scheduling methodology.
Assist in planning future projects, phases of work and future staffing.
Develop interfaces between schedulers, cost, and risk management teams to inform accurate spend forecasting, risk identification, and cost loadings.
Develop and analyse deviations from baseline in the Project Master schedule, highlighting bottlenecks, delays, and propose corrective actions.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, or equivalent technical degree.
Extremely proficient in Primavera P6
Ability to work effectively in a team environment, motivating, and supporting others.
Experience in coordinating multiple sources of schedule inputs and performance data into a master schedule.
Experience building critical path schedules from knowledge and first principles, interviewing and leading workshops with project resources.
Experienced in defining and agreeing on progress reporting approaches with contractors.
Familiar with large capital programs, extensive pre-construction programming, and scheduling experience managing complex, multi-group, multi-disciplinary development projects.
Experience managing contractor relationships and understanding of best practices in the design and construction industry, including knowledge of Last Planner, Lean Methodologies and fast-track design-build process.
Experience leading a team of diverse backgrounds and experience towards a single project outcome.
Package
€75K-€85K based negatable based on prior relevant experience
