MEICA Resident Engineer - Water Treatment - Ireland

Job Description

Our Client specialises in renewable energy, water supply, wastewater treatment and in the provision of planning and environmental services.

Contract administration.

Preparing framework tender documentation.

To define the scope of works for projects, specifications and prepare tender documents. 

To review and amend the tender documents following internal review by stakeholders.

To manage the tender period site visits and respond to tender clarifications.

To manage agenda setting, attendance and managing of project progress meetings including commencement meetings.

To undertake on-site design review, technical supervision and commissioning.

To undertake management of risks, change requests, claims, budgets and reporting as required.

To ensure compliance with HSQE requirements.

To ensure various administration exercises are completed in a timely manner.

Any other duties as determined by the Capital Programmes Regional Lead related to the delivery of the Water programmes defined in the Capital Investment Plan

Requirements

Hold a degree in Engineering (level 8 in the National Framework of Qualifications), or equivalent professional qualification, in engineering.

Have a minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience supervising MEICA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation) works

Have previous experience on site in the delivery of Major Capital Infrastructural projects.

Have a good knowledge and awareness of Health & Safety legislation and regulations.

Be capable of writing clear and concise reports and keeping works records;

Have experience with Quality Assurance Management Systems

Have a Full Clean Driving Licence.

Senior Resident Engineer - Salary €60k - €70k + benefits
