Project Engineer - Consultancy – Cork 

Job Description

Our client are a Consulting Engineering independent firm with over 30 years experience.

The practice has maintained a reputation for high quality service over a wide range of projects up to €30m in value and to a large client group, including Industrial, Pharmaceutical, Commercial, Local Authorities and private clients. 

The role fulfilled by our client includes full Project Management and Engineering of all project stages, including feasibility, schedule, conception, planning, fire safety, detailed design, safety, PSDP, tendering, construction management, cost control and handover.  

Our client currently have an opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer to join their team.  

Job Requirements

Minimum 5 years experience working as a Project or Design Engineer ideally with pharmaceutical experience

Qualifications - Civil, Structural or Architectural , or Mechanical/Electrical 

Have an understanding of construction techniques, sequences of work, Building Regulations and an up-to-date knowledge of products

An ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team environment and an ability to produce accurate work to strict project deadlines.

Self-motivated.

Must be able to plan, organize and implement concurrent tasks and projects.

Health & Safety awareness and training

Experience of preparing Contract documents and Project Management would be an advantage.

Experience of inspecting construction works.

Perform work in compliance with our Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015).

Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and team working skills.

Flexible and enthusiastic

Attention to detail and accuracy

Experience of pharmaceutical/industrial projects would be an advantage

€50k - €55k Salary negotiable dependent on experience
