Project Manager - Building Contractor​ - Dublin

Job Description

Our client is a leading Irish Building contractor working on Commercial & Fit-Out, Civic & Amenity, Education, Conservation & Restoration, Healthcare, Pharma & Industrial, Tourism & Leisure, Residential projects.

We have project options in North Dublin & city centre for candidates with immediate starts.

As an experienced Project Manager you will be able to manage the day to day operations in terms of sub-contractors and logistics on site efficiently, with Safety, Quality and Programme to the forefront. 

You will be responsible for driving projects from conception to completion ensuring that your site team deliver on time and on budget to the highest standard of quality, safety & client satisfaction.

Develop and update the construction programme with the Contracts Manager and ensure your project meets key milestones.

Determine staff resources for your project and communicate effectively with your team.

Implement Safety System and establish an excellent safety culture on your project.

Manage project quality over the lifecycle and ensure build quality meets expectations.

Ensure project costs are managed and prelims / packages are tightly controlled.

Work with the commercial team to deliver agreed commercial objectives for your project.

Maintain positive relationships with the client team; keep them informed of claims & delays.

Requirements

Third level qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or relevant experience

5+years project management experience working with a main contractors on projects valued €10M+ and above.

Demonstrated ability to plan & deliver buildings project

Ability to build & maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders

Computer literate and familiar with MS office, project, (or similar scheduling package)

Package

€70K - €90K negotiable based on experience and qualifications
