Project Manager - Civil Structural - Dublin

Job Description

Our client is a multidisciplinary Engineering practice operating across the private and public sectors in Ireland for over 50 years.

Responsible for project management of €60m project in North Dublin from conception through to completion.

Management of project personnel, technical issues and finances.

Report directly to Director responsible for department with respect to project progress, technical issues, budget planning, forecasting.

Involvement in all aspects of project, from feasibility, constraints, preliminary design, public consultation, statutory procedures, procurement, contracts, detailed design and contract administration;

Motivate & inspire the design team and the wider business to achieve and exceed targets.

Control budget, forecasting and project finances.

Requirements

A degree in Civil Engineering

10 - 15 years post graduate experience.

Chartered or in process of getting chartered

Experience across a broad range of civil engineering ideally with experience working on large residential or commerical type projects

Excellent verbal communication skills

Clear, concise and user friendly writing skills

Strong interpersonal/people skills with the ability to manage design personnel

A proven track record working closely in partnership with clients and contractors and other members of design teams

A proactive approach with an ability to adapt to changing scenarios

Understanding of the Irish / international regulatory and policy issues

Site/construction/operational experience would also be beneficial

Package

18 month fixed term contract initially.

Salary €60k - €80K, negotiable for the right candidate
