Project Manager - Highways - Kildare

Job Description

Our client is is looking for a Project Manager to work on major infrastructure and site development projects throughout Munster, Ireland

The role will include project management of Road Schemes around Ireland, design services, preparation of contract documentation, site based supervision of construction activities and management of projects for private and public clients.

The candidate should have experience within the roads sector including a detailed knowledge of the DMRB / DMURS and the ability to translate this into workable designs

Experience in the development of roads schemes (preferably in Ireland) including Preliminary Design, Planning, Detailed Design, Tender Assessment, Construction Supervision is essential.

Requirements

The successful applicant will be an experienced design engineer of at least 10 year's experience

Successful applicant will be Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or similar.

Preference will be given to applicant that are Chartered or have taken steps towards Chartership. 

Experience in Project Management and Client Liaison 

Excellent knowledge and experience of drainage modelling

Significant experience of report writing and delivery to clients.

Additional knowledge of clean water hydraulic modelling an advantage.

Familiarity with AutoCAD and other modelling software 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Ability to work within a team environment and under own initiative to achieve project goals.

Package

Salary €75k - €85k based experience, negotiable for the right candidates.
