Project Planner - Mechanical Contractor - Dublin

Job Description

The Project Planner/Scheduler will liaise with clients, suppliers, sub-contractors and the internal team to develop comprehensive schedules based on activities, manpower, delivery dates, costs etc.

Responsible for development and management of project schedules

Estimating costs, monitoring budget and spending

Generating progress reports and forecasts for team, management, clients, and stakeholders

Assisting with company expansion plans

Working with multiple teams across different sectors

Identifying any issues in the planning process and assisting in solving

Responsibility for compliance with company standards and procedures

Liaising with Directors, Management and Project team

Monitoring and report on project progress.

Working on and assisting project managers to develop accurate programme of works files

Requirements

3-5 years’ experience in a planning role within construction industry

Relevant Qualification in mechanical engineering/Project management

Experience in a planning/Scheduler role

Self-motivated organized individual

Strong project management experience

Ability to work to tight deadlines

Ability to work on own initiative 

Excellent communication skills

Negotiation skills, Scheduling and time management

Experience using Microsoft Excel, Project would be advantageous

Package

€60K- €80K negotiable based on experience and qualifications
