Job Description

Review current quality systems and develop best practice systems throughout a multidisciplined

Being on site to oversee all of the construction process

Inspect and review works being carried out by directly employed and subcontracted resources and ensure that they are achieving the required quality and standards to the latest information

Identify and record non-conformances and ensure that corrective measures are taken, taking account the sequence of activities and access requirements. 

Maintain a register of all observations and record the close out of any remedial works

Check and monitor site activities, in accordance with general technical guidelines, applicable standards and specific requirements laid down in the specifications, in order to control and record the quality of the work

Ensure compliance with Safety Quality and Environmental standards on the site and take corrective measures, in accordance with legislation and regulations

Report on the status of the work to the Quality Manager and Project Manager

Ensure the works are carried out in accordance with the PMP and with related Method Statements

Review and implement the environmental requirements on the project, co-ordinate environmental control measures and report environmental emergencies and incidents

Provide support to site management on root cause analysis and investigation

Writing project progress records and progress photos in liaison with the Foreman and Engineers

Keeping a daily diary

Assist in the preparation of the safety File and in BC(a)R submissions

Review and comment on subcontractor, supplier and vendor technical submittals for compliance with the contract and IFC documentation

Setting high standards regarding one’s own work and acting accordingly.

Maintaining effectiveness by adapting to changing circumstances, tasks, responsibilities and/or people.

Identify problems and track down possible causes: recognising important information and establishing a link between data.

Drawing correct and realistic conclusions based on the information available.

Clearly describing and assigning tasks, responsibilities and authority to the right people, thereby making effective use of their time and skills

Determining goals and priorities effectively to achieve agreed targets

Contacts and maintains contact easily with people of varying levels, changes personal conduct to a situation, if necessary, in order to create a positive atmosphere, solve conflicts and achieve goals

Actively focused on achieving high quality results and objectives


Requirements:

8+ years' experience on Major Projects ideally in the pharma or biotech sectors

Engineering degree or relevant industry experience.

Knowledge of Quality Control and Building Regulations in the construction industry

Must be proficient in the English language

Must have a good working knowledge of Word and Excel

Must be willing to work in a BIM based electronic environment

A good working knowledge in the area of Quality Control and the associated technology, working methods, subcontractors, storage, scheduling, staffing levels and the use of heavy equipment on large construction projects

8+ years’ experience on large complex multi-disciplined projects, ideally in the pharma or microelectronics industries.


Package

12 month + contract

Contract rates dependent on prior relevant experience, ca €55 - 75/hour
