Senior Civil Engineer - Site Development - Ireland

Job Description

Our client is one of the leading global Design, Engineering and Project Management Consultancies. 

This role can be based in Dublin or Galway.

Senior Civil Engineer to be based in either the Galway or Dublin office to take the lead in delivery of Civil Engineering design elements of building and site development projects. 

Current workload in building and site development projects includes the Commercial, Residential, Healthcare, Industrial and Education Sectors for both public and private clients.

Acting as Lead Civil/Structural Engineer as part of Multi-Disciplined Design Teams

Management of Staff

Financial management of design budgets

Design input and overseeing the delivery of all Civil aspects of site development projects including:

Internal Roads

Selection of Building and site levels

Drainage (Storm and Foul)

Utilities (Watermains, Communications, Electrical, Gas)

Preparation of project reports (Planning, Tender, Construction Stage)

Preparation of fee proposals and quality submissions for design contracts with public and private clients

Requirements

Level 8 Engineering Degree

Chartered Engineer

Min 7 years in a Design Consultancy environment

Experience in Client facing roles

Good Communicator

Previous staff management experience

Experience in delivery of Civil Engineering Design

Proficient in MS Office Suite

Working knowledge of Civil 3D; Drainage Design Suites; Autocad

Package

Salary €50k - €70k negotiable based on experience

25 days holiday per annum
