Job Description

Our client is a multi-disciplined international engineering consultancy, currently undergoing rapid growth in Ireland.

This role can be based in Cork, Dublin or Galway.

Our client is a leader in offshore wind development, having been selected as the lead consultant for the sector’s major “firsts”. 

They have an opportunity for a talented and passionate Senior Consultant to join our deeply experienced, multi-disciplinary Marine Consents and Environment team.

As a Senior Consultant you will be supporting the delivery of large-scale marine and coastal infrastructure projects across the UK and Ireland. 

This includes but is not limited to the coordination and delivery of EIA’s; marine consents management and compliance; technical review and delivery of reports; and related technical assessments and build relationships with statutory consultees and other groups/members of the public.

We have ambitious plans to expand our support to the global renewables sector, with offshore wind as a key focus area of this initiative. 

As a member of our team, you will work with some of the industry’s brightest and most experienced talent to deliver projects for the industry’s major energy developers. 

And, as we and our clients continue expanding across North America and Asia Pacific, you’ll also have an opportunity to support the delivery of their portfolios internationally.


Requirements

A thorough understanding of EIA for major energy infrastructure projects is required, ideally coupled with direct experience of the offshore renewables sector. 

Applicants with experience of working in other offshore industries (e.g. Oil & Gas) or onshore energy infrastructure projects would also be welcomed. 

Deep expertise in leading and coordinating projects across multidisciplinary teams is essential. 

In addition to holding a post-graduate qualification in a relevant environmental discipline and having Membership or chartered status of a relevant professional institute.
