Senior Scheduler - Planner - Engineering Consultancy - Dublin

Job Description

Our client is a multi-disciplined international engineering consultancy, currently undergoing rapid growth in Ireland

They require an experienced Project Scheduler / Planner to support the planning & scheduling project works for the Dublin office

Will be working on multiple projects – some live projects / proposals / projects in the infrastructure sectors.

Strong cross disciplinary experience with strong understanding of construction sequencing and coordination.

Good understanding of the wider project controls functions and contracting interfacing (Tender milestones / Contract milestones / Extension of time evaluations)

Ability to chair and run Interactive Planning and coordination meetings.

Ability to establish and run an earned value progress reporting system.

Excellent computer skills including Primavera P6, Microsoft Project and MS Office Suite.

Excellent interpersonal and communications skills

Good understanding of design deliverables and sub-contract mobilisation activities.

Requirements

3rd level degree in Construction Economics / Construction Technology or Engineering

6+ years experience with large scale projects

Capable communicator with ability to facilitate area planning meetings with multiple contractors

Excellent proficiency in Primavera P6 & MS Project
