Senior Structural Engineer - Dublin

Job Description 

Working within the larger structural project team and with the structural project lead, you will be expected to be able to undertake structural design to the relevant eurocodes and generate design reports.  

You will also be required to be able to generate mark ups for revit designers to incorporate into the overall structural design. 

You will be required to be able to check drawings and documents ahead of them being issued for tender or construction.  

This will involve the checking of other engineers design as well as ensuring that the drawings represent your design intent.  

You will be working in a multi discipline design office and design collaboration is a key part of how we work.  

This collaboration requires good communication skills and you may also be required to attend internal design meetings and model reviews.

Requirements

Degree in Structural Engineering

Previous experience in Pharmaceutical or industrial projects

Experience with large steelwork framed structures

Good team player

Analytical, numerate and self-motivated

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience of managing resources to deliver work on time and to agreed budgets

Ability to prioritise, to achieve deadlines and to work with minimal supervision

Demonstrate initiative with managing workload

Strong interpersonal skills

Package

Hourly Rate €40 - €50

Minimum 12month contract
