Setting Out Engineer - Construction Contractor - Dublin

Job Description

Our client is a tier one contractor seeking an experienced Setting out Engineer for projects based on the Southside Dublin

Responsible for assisting the construction management team, the Site Engineer’s duties include but are not limited to:

Setting out, levelling and quality control, including concrete quality through cube sampling, slump testing, etc.

Record keeping of all site activities, maintaining a site diary, uploading material to the DMS, etc.

Supervision of other directly employed and subcontractor personnel engaged in various elements of the construction project.

Adheres strictly to the Company’s health and safety, environmental, quality and other on-site policies and procedures.

Requirements

Relevant Civil Engineering Qualifications

3+ years recent setting-out experience with main buildings or civils contractors

Excellent IT skills, together with a sound working knowledge of surveying instruments and equipment

The ability to keep accurate records 

General knowledge / experience of safety management 

Good communication skills 

Highly motivated and good organisational skills

Package

Salary €55k - €65k Negotiable dependant on experience,

Full time permanent staff role with ongoing work
