Job Description

Our client are a large Irish owned Facilities Management company. They work in multiple sectors including; Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Education, Corporate, Government, Public Buildings, and Retail.

We are currently recruiting for a FM Site Manager to join our Schools PPP contract based in Kells. 

This full-time permanent role will take ownership of the operational management and delivery of all facilities management services delivered within the PPP.

This includes the management of customer interface; ensuring a high profile in the day-to-day running of the sites, and provision of a consistent strong link with customers, guaranteeing appropriate and responsive reaction to address all client concerns. This is an active and visible role requiring excellent customer relationship and supplier management skills. Working as part of a team within the business, the FM Site Manager will be expected to positively contribute to the performance of the business by engendering a culture of customer care.

To manage excellent relationships with our client, suppliers and other partners

To ensure that the operational aspects of the region are delivered in accordance with the SLA by an agreed programme of qualitative checks and controlled measures and to rectify identified deviation where appropriate to develop maximum profitable growth of the business through understanding client needs, maximizing the services delivered and championing excellent customer care

To ensure compliance with all statutory, IMS, security and relevant company and client policies generating a true health and safety culture

To lead, recruit, develop and retain staff to deliver services in the most efficient and effective manner

To ensure that a Continuous Improvement Process is an integral part of service delivery increasingly adding value to both the business and our client

As a member of the Facilities Management Team, to be an ambassador and leader of the business

To organise and facilitate regular Customer Forums and meetings with other key stakeholders as appropriate

To interact with all internal teams to discharge the consistent, effective and efficient delivery of planned and reactive tasks and in doing so, support best practice

To support customer and company audits ensuring optimum results are achieved

Assist in the establishment of systems of monitoring and control, designed to ensure appropriate control over all critical service points, to maximise customer satisfaction, minimise customer complaints and other adverse feedback

To ensure that records are held and updated as required

To manage the people resources effectively and efficiently to deliver the required services

Analysis of budgetary information to assist in annual budgetary and monthly forecasting processes

Any other duties as deemed necessary for the efficiency of the business


Requirements

Successful candidate will ideally be from an M&E background and will be expected to participate in physical work to assist the site team from a specialist perspective

Must possess People Management skills & have experience in the areas of staff training & development, recognition & reward etc.

Strong customer service skills

Knowledge/experience of CAFM & BMS systems along with Maximo software

Experience as an outsourced provider of IFM is desirable however not essential

Keen Health & Safety awareness - IOSH/NEBOSH an advantage

Understanding of Quality Systems e.g. ISO 9001

Strong understanding of FM/Building/M&E services

Financial & Budgetary awareness (labour & Subcontractors)

Experience in Asset Management

Competent in compiling and collating site info into weekly and monthly reporting formats e.g. Energy Management requirements


Package

€45k - €50k negotiable based on experience & qualifications
