Site Representative - Roads - Leinster - Dublin
Our client is a leading Irish multidisciplinary Engineering and Project Management Consultancy with operations nationwide.
They work on the country’s most challenging projects to deliver Ireland’s infrastructure.
Our client are currently recruiting a Consultant’s Site Representatives to monitor and administer the construction of a Motorway Services Contract at sites located at Kilcullen, Athlone and Gorey.
It is expected that the project will commence in May 2018 with a likely duration of 18 months.
The role consists of the Senior Representative and team leader of a Works Monitoring and Administration Team, reporting to the Authority’s Representative, appointed by Transport Infrastructure Ireland.
The role includes the supervision of the construction of the Works in accordance with the Construction Requirements and administration of the Contract in accordance with the duties delegated to the Consultant’s Site Representative.
Hold an honours degree (Level 8 in the National Framework of Qualifications) in Engineering or equivalent professional qualification in engineering.
Have at least 15 years’ experience in the supervision of relevant engineering work including, for a period of not less than eight years, experience in the supervision of building and civil engineering work.
Possess a high standard of technical training and experience, with excellent IT skills.
Have familiarity and experience of the PPP Procurement Model; including the roles and duties of the respective parties, contractual obligations and timeframes.
Be familiar with the relevant Dispute Resolution Processes.
Have experience of Project Management, Risk Management & Cost Management Procedures.
Have detailed experience of fulfilling duties required by the Safety Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations, 2013, including ensuring, on behalf of the Employer, that the duties of the PSCS, PSDP, Designer and Contractor are implemented across the project.
Have knowledge and experience of civil engineering materials quality control
€65 - 80K, depending on experience
15 to 20 Month Fixed Term Contract
