Site Supervisor - Civils - Limerick

Job Description

Our client is a multi-disciplined Utilities and Civil Engineering Contractor working with Local Authorities, Irish Water, Group Water Schemes, Local & County Councils.

They are leading specialists in Trenchless & Utilities Contracting and have undertaken numerous major civil engineering projects in the water, roads & telecoms sectors.

They are seeking experienced site supervisors to work on Civil Water projects across Limerick/Tipperary/Clare and the general Mid West Region.

Candidates will work closely with the project teams to bring projects to completion, ensuring work is carried out to the highest standard and within timelines.

Managing Site Crews on the day to day activity on site

Coordinating site staff and sub-contractors on site

Ensuring completion dates are met

Managing civil engineering and groundworks contractors

Ensuring quality of works

Managing labour time sheets, supplier documents and HSQE paperwork

Requirements

3+ years’ experience in a similar role with main/civils contractors on utilities / piping / street works

Proven record of seeing projects through from start to finish

Excellent working knowledge of latest building regulation and certification standards

Excellent working knowledge and track record of managing utilities

An ability to achieve demanding time and quality targets.

To be good at working with people at all levels and willing to work in a team.

The ability to lead, use initiative and be self-motivated.

A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for tasks & project.

€60K-€70K Competitive salaries and negotiable based in experience
