Job Description

Our client is a leading Irish Engineering Consultancy which works on large and prestigious projects throughout the Ireland and internationally.  

The project sectors include commercial, mixed use, residential, healthcare, education, retail and leisure.

As an Engineer / Senior Engineer you will be working as part of a team carrying out structural design and analysis of building structures.  

You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience through mentoring and development.

We are looking for people who are excellent team players and have a proactive and positive attitude towards working on, and delivering, projects on time and to budget.  

The role will be at assistant engineer or project engineer level, depending on your experience and reporting to the team leader of one of our structural engineering teams.  

Requirements

3 -10 years structural engineering design experience

Approaching Chartered or Chartered Engineer status

Educated to level 8 or equivalent in Civil/Structural Engineering

Excellent understanding of Eurocodes and design and analysis software

Strong communications and report writing skills essential.  

Good standard of ability on Revit would be beneficial.  

Experience in the use of 3-D analysis and design software, good knowledge and understanding of Eurocodes and their application required. 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work independently to tight deadlines

Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to plan and implement project work independently

Innovative and creative ideas.
