Our client is a multi-disciplined Utilities and Civil Engineering Contractor working with Local Authorities, Irish Water, Group Water Schemes, Local & County Councils.

Due to continued growth, newly awarded contracts and an extensive pipeline of work, our client are now hiring an Assistant Project Manager to join our team working on projects in the Southeast region.

This is a full- time position covering the South East region, based out of Kilkenny, working on Irish Water programme.

Assist the Metering and Pressure management Project Manager in the delivery of various projects in the Southeast region.

Promote high standards of Health, Safety and Quality at all times.

Maintain strong working relationships with clients, their representatives, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders.

Assist in drafting and communicating regular project reports for both internal and client use.

Coordinate effectively with internal teams, departments, and third-party providers.

Support in identifying and resolving issues relating to performance, scope, cost, and scheduling.

Assist in the detailed project planning and resource-loaded scheduling within the programme

Contribute to the timely and accurate delivery of status updates and reports to clients.

Requirements

Qualified in construction management or related field.

Relevant academic or technical qualification

1-2 years experience in the water/wastewater sector.

Strong problem-solving, and communication skills

Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Strong project management and IT skills are essential
