Senior CAD Designer / BIM Technician - Water & Wastewater - Ireland

Visa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa required

Our client is a leading engineering and utilities contractor specialising in water and wastewater infrastructure. The CAD Designer / BIM Technician will be responsible for the preparation, development, and management of engineering drawings and BIM models across all stages of project delivery. They will work closely with Mechanical, Electrical, Process, and Automation Engineers to produce high-quality design documentation for water and wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations, reservoirs, and associated infrastructure.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Engineering, CAD, BIM, Design Technology, or a related discipline Minimum 10 years' experience in a CAD Design or BIM role

Previous experience within the water and wastewater industry, specifically producing engineering drawings for treatment plants, pumping stations, reservoirs, or utility infrastructure projects

Highly proficient in AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360

Strong understanding of engineering design principles and experience working within multidisciplinary engineering teams

Package

Salary 55k - 70k depending on experience

25 days annual leave

Monday to Friday, standard working hours
