Our client is a leading Registered Consulting Engineering Practice based in Limerick City.

Job Description

Produce detailed 3D M&E models using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD for various commercial, educational, and healthcare projects. Coordinate mechanical and electrical services designs to identify and resolve spatial clashes before construction. Develop family components, template files, and standardized parametric content in Revit to maintain model consistency. Extract drawing sheets, schedules, and spatial layout details from BIM models in accordance with project BIM execution plans (BEP). Liaise closely with internal M&E design engineers, external architects, and structural teams to ensure seamless model integration. Participate in BIM coordination meetings and produce clash detection reports using Navisworks. Ensure all drawing outputs adhere to industry standards, ISO 19650 guidelines, and company drafting procedures.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Building Services, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or CAD/BIM Technology. Minimum 3 years’ dedicated experience producing M&E BIM models using Revit MEP and AutoCAD. Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical building services layouts and routing requirements. Proficiency with Navisworks for clash detection and coordination reporting. Good working knowledge of ISO 19650 standards and BIM execution workflows. Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational and communication skills.
