CSA Quantity Surveyor - Pharma Projects - Limerick

Employment Type: Long term contract min 12 months

Pay: €75-€85 Per Hour Rate

Our Client is one of Ireland's leading EPCm consultancies with offices in Dublin and Cork. 

A CSA Quantity Surveyor required for a Limerick pharma project to be based full time on client site

The role will include all aspects of Quantity Surveying both pre and post contract across a variety of sectors.

The successful candidate will be equally capable of working independently or as part of a larger team and will report directly to the Commercial Manager.

Quantity taking off, framing of item description and cost estimates.

Preparation of Rate analysis. 

Knowledge of standard specifications 

Read & Understand clauses of contract.

Checking & certifying contractor's bill, settlement of claims, cost control, cost monitoring & forecasting of cost. 

Requires interaction with own and other discipline to complete estimation tasks. 

Perform discipline, project, ISO and administration tasks.

Read AutoCAD and Model for taking measurements from same.

Dealing with International codes & methods of measurements.

Preparation of technical specification with guidance 

Shall be able to work in Excel, word, Power Point

CostX and / or Bluebeam knowledge and experience 

Co-ordinate among other discipline.

Requirements

Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics

Minimum 5years Experience in the Construction Industry.

Life Science Project experience

Have experience with contract indirect packages.

Ability to work well within a team and to collaborate with others.

Must be commercially aware, flexible and have ambition to progress within the organisation.

Drive and determination to manage strict budgets to ensure the commercial success of the project.

Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency and meet challenging work goals.

Package

Long term contract role in 12 months

€75-€85 Per Hour Rate
