Civil Engineers - Civil Contractor - Dublin

Office/Project Location: Dublin - multiple sites

Pay: €50K- €85K negotiable based on experience

Experience: 2+years experience on Civil / Water / Utility projects

Visa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa required

Our client is a multi-disciplined Utilities and Civil Engineering Contractor working with Local Authorities, Irish Water, Group Water Schemes, Local & County Councils.

Due to continued growth and newly awarded contracts and an extensive pipeline of work, our client is now hiring Civil Engineers and Site Agents for infrastructure and water projects throughout the Dublin region.

As a Civil Engineer you will work closely with the Project Manager and the on-site teams. 

Reviewing and interpreting site drawings and specifications

Setting out works accurately using GPS and Total Station

Coordinating with site supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers

Managing site resources including plant, materials, and labour

Monitoring quality and ensuring compliance with company standards

Attending and contributing to regular site meetings

Enforcing health and safety standards and traffic management on site

Preparing progress reports and updates for the Project Manager

Supporting a collaborative and productive site environment

Requirements

2+ years’ experience in a similar civil engineering roles

A degree in Civil Engineering or Construction-related discipline

Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and general IT tools

Strong skills in subcontractor coordination and stakeholder communication

Previous experience on water infrastructure projects is a strong advantage

Proven ability to problem solve and manage multiple priorities

Excellent organisational and record-keeping skills

Comfortable working alongside clients and the public

Experience with GPS and Total Station setting out

Full Irish driving licence.

Package
