Civil / Structural CAD Technician - Kildare

Job Description

Our client is an Irish Civil and Structural engineering consultancy practice. 

The practice has extensive experience in both public and private sector engineering projects across a broad range of sectors including educational, infrastructural, conservation and refurbishment, commercial, residential and industrial developments.

You will be producing civil infrastructural drawings associated with structural projects 

Requirements

5 years to 15+ experience of relevant Structural & Civil building projects in a C&S Consultancy (residential. Commercial, educational. Health, leisure, industrial)

Level 7 or equivalent 3^rd level qualification in CAD and used of REVIT

Good verbal and written communication skills required

Experience in General Arrangement drawing and structural detailing for structural buildings in Reinforced Concrete, precast concrete Structural Steelwork, masonry and timber strictures

RC detailing and use of CADS RC is beneficial

Experience and knowledge in below ground structures – foundations, basements , retaining walls etc.

Experience in infrastructural drawings for planning and construction associated with building projects including roads, surface water drainage, sustainable drainage systems, foul drainage, drainage detailing

Knowledge of Irish Water standard drainage details
