Pay: €55 - €65K and negotiable dependent on experience

Experience: 2+ years exp working with main contractors on buildings / commerical projects.

Visa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa required

Our client is a main construction contractor seeking an experienced Site Engineer for a healthcare building project based in Galway.

Responsible for assisting the construction management team, the Site Engineer’s duties include but are not limited to:

Setting out duties

Quality control, Record keeping of all site activities, maintaining a site diary, uploading material to the DMS, etc.

Supervision of other directly employed and subcontractor personnel engaged in various elements of the construction project.

Adheres strictly to the Company’s health and safety, environmental, quality and other on-site policies and procedures.

Requirements

Relevant Civil Engineering Qualifications

2+ years recent site engineering experience with main buildings or civils contractors

Excellent IT skills, together with a sound working knowledge of surveying instruments and equipment

The ability to keep accurate records 

General knowledge / experience of safety management 

Good communication skills 

Highly motivated and good organisational skills

Salary €55k - €65k Negotiable dependant on experience,
