Fit Out Manager - Residential Apartments - Cork

Our client is a leading Irish Contractor who undertake projects throughout Ireland in large scale construction.

They are seeking an experienced internal / finishing Fit Out Manager for a multi story apartment block build in Cork, who will report to the Project Director and will be fully responsible for the managing of the fit out team and relevant sub contractors.

They will be part of pre-construction, construction and final handover of the project to the client.

Check documents are current and obtain drawings, specifications, drawings register and approved drawings.

Obtain site files and check for compliance

Obtain daily site report, Requests for Information (RFI's) etc

Control of all operations in the field including the allocation and management of all employees, materials, plant, and equipment

Ensure that safety is an integral part of all construction planning process

Oversee all matters related to Workplace Health & Safety

Communicate daily with site personnel and sub-contractor’s representatives as required

Direction, delegation of tasks and co-ordination of sectional supervisors

Manage BCAR inspections and files

Assist Project Director in handover with O&M files, completed snag lists etc.

Requirements

5+ years of project management experience of fit out packages on large scale residential projects with main contractors

Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills

Package

Salary €75k - €95K negotiable dependent on experience
