Health & Safety Manager - Consultancy - Dublin

The role holder will be responsible for ensuring all design, construction, testing and commissioning works will be carried out incompliance with the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005; Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007 to 2020, and all other current applicable Regulations, Codes of Practice and Guidance. 

In addition, the role holder will be required to assist the National Transport Authority in complying with the duties incumbent on them as the “Client” for Bus Corridors Infrastructure Frameworks under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013.

The Health and Safety Manager will support the Design and Technical Services Lead in leading the Health and Safety sub-functional area, assuming responsibility for the performance management of CP personnel deployed within the sub-functional area and leading the continuous drive towards a high-performance culture. 

The role holder will be required to develop and maintain a detailed resourcing plan for the Health and Safety sub-functional area and will oversee the day-to-day activities of the CP personnel deployed within the sub-functional area, ensuring they are carrying out their relevant tasks efficiently and effectively to ensure the successful delivery of CBCIW.

Degree qualified 

10+ years’ experience in a similar role

Transport projects knowledge

Excellent multi-disciplinary knowledge

Excellent communication skills

People management skills
