Our client is a leading Irish Residential Developer Contractor with projects throughout Dublin.

They are seeking an experienced H&S Advisor to work on a largescale residential apartment developement in Baldoyle.

Reporting to the HSE Manager, your duties will include:

You will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of safety statements, legislation and company policy across the site and that all relevant safety documents are completed and filed correctly. 

The Safety Officer will provide general support and assistance to the Health & Safety Manager and Site Nanagers.

You will carry out site safety inspections and conduct accident and dangerous occurrence investigations, within your designated area of responsibility

You will carry out Risk Assessments & complete Method Statements as required.

You will liaise with Site Manager to ensure Health and Safety documentation is up to date on site

You will maintain and track the accident and dangerous occurrence register, and safety management system

You'll drive a safety culture by being a champion of best practice; conducting training for new and existing employees on the importance of health and safety on the job; and by suggesting improvements to existing methods of work

Requirements

Relevant H&S Qualifications and Certs

3+years experience working with construction contractors

Good understanding of health and safety legislation and have an ability to evaluate current and emerging trends in health and safety management.

Self-motivated, be able to quickly resolve issues and be able to integrate well into a project team

Package

Salary €45k - €60k negotiable dependant on experience

Full-time permanent staff role with great career prospects on Dublin based projects
