Junior Quantity Surveyor - Civil Contractor - Cork

Office/Project Location: Cork

Pay: €40K-55K

Experience: 4+years

Visa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa required

Our client has over 40 years experience in the Design & Build of Water & Infrastructure projects in Ireland & the UK.

Provision of procurement advice

Preparation of cost estimates

Undertaking Project QS role on small to medium sized projects

Contract administration and post-contract role

Visiting sites and attending meetings

Liaison with the design team, client, local approving authorities, contractors and other third parties as required

Short-term travel as required

Maintaining quality standards

Requirement

Degree in Quantity Surveying

The suitable candidate will be enthusiastic and flexible and will possess:

Excellent report writing and communication skills 

Working knowledge of MS Office products and construction industry estimating software

Familiarity with contracts (NEC, Public Works Contracts, FIDIC) and will be Commercially astute with strong numerical skills, demonstrating an attention to detail

€40K-€55K depending on level of experience and negotiable for the right candidate.
