Junior Health & Safety Advisor - Construction Contractor - Wicklow

Office/Project Location: Wexford Wicklow

Work Location: Multiple construction sites in Wexford & Wicklow

Pay: Salary negotiable based on experience

Experience: 2+ years working with construction contractors 

Visa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa required

Our Client is a leading construction and design company that specialises in providing high-quality, innovative and sustainable building solutions.

They provide comprehensive building services to government agencies, private developers, major retailers and manufacturers.

They have completed commercial buildings, residential complexes, educational institutions, healthcare facilities, sports and hospitality establishments build projects.

They are seeking a Junior Health & Advisor to work on buildings projects based in Wexford & Wicklow.

Report on safety performance of project teams and subcontractors and make recommendations to ensure safe working conditions.

Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks.

Effective delivery of defined HSE processes, procedures, standards and systems.

Monitor and review site performance through weekly inspections and audits, including assessment of all Risk Assessments and Method Statements.

Assist and participate in the promotion of health related risks and training on site.

Ensure full implementation of the Company’s Accident Reporting Procedure.

Ensure the implications of changes in legislation and safety management techniques are communicated and implemented throughout the Company and Supply Chain.

Requirements

Relevant H&S Qualifications

2+years experience in a similar role in the construction sector.

Good team player

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to prioritise, to achieve deadlines and to work with minimal supervision

Strong interpersonal skills
