Junior Quantity Surveyor - MEP Consultancy - Dublin

Our client is an ambitious, newly established Irish company delivering independent quality, commissioning, MEP auditing and management services for the data centre and construction industries.

The Junior Quantity Surveyor is required to provide commercial support to the project team, maintaining cost information, assisting with valuations, and ensuring compliance with project budgets and contractual requirements.

They will assist in liaising with client representatives, subcontractors, and suppliers on commercial matters including variations and payment applications.

Assist with the preparation and submission of monthly applications for payment and interim valuations.

Support senior commercial staff in cost control, forecasting, and compiling monthly Cost Value Reports (CVRs)

Carry out takeoff measurements from drawings and assist with sub-contractor procurement and analysis.

Maintain accurate records of variations, dayworks, and site changes.

Assist in managing sub-contractor accounts, including payment notifications and agreement of final accounts.

Support the team with contractual correspondence and administrative procedures.

Help ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards across all active projects.

Requirements

Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics (or equivalent)

1-2+ years' post-graduate experience as a Junior / Assistant Quantity Surveyor. Strong proficiency in IT skills including Microsoft Excel and measurement software.

Good foundational understanding of construction contracts and measurement standards.

Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills with high attention to detail
