MEP BIM Technician - Roscommon

Pay:  €45k - €55k per year

Visa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa required

Our client is a leading Mechanical and electrical engineering contractor working on large scale projects across Ireland

Work in BIM and CAD files using Revit and AutoCAD

Working on the design and detailing of Mechanical and Electrical services across Data Centre, Pharma, Healthcare, Commercial, and Education

When necessary preparing drawings from scratch

Taking responsibility for discrete areas of systems co-ordination as delegated by senior engineering staff

Liaison with internal team members and external clients re required drawing modifications of drawings

Document control and filing

If/when required producing or assist in producing CAD briefing documents and sending required information to Manilla office.

Filing, opening and checking drawings received from Manila for accuracy making modifications where required.

Circulating PDFs for markups.

Requirements

2+ years' experience in modelling mechanical and electrical systems within a consulting engineering office or building contractor

Proficient in BIM authoring software. Revit, Navisworks, CAD 3D

Sound knowledge of REVIT/BIM/ Navisworks which continual professional development

Knowledge of MS Office word, excel, etc

Ability to use IT based calculation and spreadsheet software

Ability to prioritise own workload

Ability to work to deadlines

Background in consulting or construction preferred.

Good understanding of international working and business operations of a global consultancy.

Package

€45k - €55k Negotiable depending on the right candidate.
