Mechanical Pre-Construction Lead - Pharma Project

Office Location: Dublin

Project location: Germany 

Employment Type: 12 month rolling Contract 

Work Location: Office based in Dublin, travel to Project site in Germany at least 8 days per month 

Rate: 70 - 80 per hour

Experience: 10+ years

Visa: EU passport required

The Mechanical Pre-Construction Lead is assigned to a project as a senior member of the Construction Team with responsibility for the proper and timely construction of the Mechanical Scope in accordance with Safety and Quality standards, the detailed design, the control estimate, contract, SOP’s, WI’s, standards etc. 

The duties of the Mechanical Pre- Construction Lead are set out below.

· Detailed review and liaison with design and client work group leads, model reviews.

· Prepare and lead constructability reviews.

· Prepare detailed SOWs for trade contract procurement.

· Assist in preparation of detailed BOQs.

· Review returned Mechanical bids and prepare TBA.

· Trade and industry knowledge reviews, keeping abreast of developments in the construction industry.

· Development of detailed execution strategies.

· Input into CHSP, QA/TO and all other General Construction Requirement documentation.

· Assist in schedule development, schedule reviews and lead IAPs.

The Mechanical Pre-Construction Lead will also provide input for the development of the Mechanical construction department which will include improving execution procedures, liaising with the Mechanical Design department leads, and managing and developing Mechanical construction resources across the project.

Requirements:

Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar

Significant years’ experience in a similar role

Biotech/Pharma knowledge

Excellent multi-disciplinary knowledge

Excellent communication skills

EU passport as international travel required

Package:

12 month rolling contract 

70 - 80 per hour DOE
