Quantity Surveyor - Civil Contractor - Dublin

Pay: Salary negotiable depending on experience

Experience:4+ years' experience in civil engineering, utilities, infrastructure, or construction projects.

Visa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa required

Our client is a leading Irish Civils contractor who possess ISO9001 accreditation and continually lead the way in integrated services and support. 

They have a strong safety first attitude and their certified safety & environmental systems allow them to operate in a safe and more efficient way.

They are seeking to appoint Mid - Senior Quantity Surveyors to work on local authorities and public bodies projects

Maintaining and updating records relevant to commercial aspects of the project

Maintaining records of variations on projects

Assist with on-site construction inspections and measurement

Liaising with site agents to ensure accurate and timely receipt of information

Management of Sub Contract packages

Assisting with the preparation and letting of Sub-Contract packages

Assisting with the administration of Sub-Contract orders from award to Final account stages, including monitoring of Sub-Contract payments

Assist with the preparation and submission of valuations

Assist with the production of financial reports

Attend monthly site progress meetings

Requirements

A relevant degree in Quantity Surveying

4+ years’ post qualification experience

Experience working in the Civils / Utilities sector desirable

Commercial awareness and experience managing project costs, contracts, and change control

Proficient in all MS Software packages

Excellent spoken and written communication skills

Methodical, pay attention to detail and be accurate

Good at working with people at all levels and willing to work in a team

Self-motivated with ability to work on own initiative

Full clean drivers’ licence

Package

Salary negotiable depending on experience

Annual Leave 21 days

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
